Plus Size Dress - Two-Piece Illusion / Short Length / Lace Detail

This women's mini dress was created with a two-piece illusion of a skirt and blouse, when it is really one, cohesive garment. The look was accomplished by providing a semi-sheer, lacy overhang that goes over the waist point of the skirt. In back, however, the line is unbroken. The bodice is a precise, yet comfortable fit with beautiful lace detail along the bottom. The skirt portion is a straight, moderately loose fit with the same lace appearing at the hemline in a broad band. Portions of the wearer's skin tastefully show among the openings in the lace. A very short kick pleat appears at the back of the hemline to provide a wider range of motion for the wearer. The sleeves are three quarter length and loose enough for a comfortable fit. This dress comes in a lovely, medium shade of royal blue.
